I really need to update more often!

I have not been particularly busy, just not feeling very well and doing other stuff. I have been scrapping some and reading some and watching alot of Dr. Who on my computer. I think I will do a picture catch up post and then maybe tomorrow do a real post and try to get back into a blogging routine!

As you can see from the last picture we got some ice again! Not too much, but enough to call off school today, which was fine with me cause I didn't want to go anywhere today. My throat is hurting again, I keep sneezing, my head is all stopped up and when I open my mouth to yawn or anything my ear pops. I am so sick of not feeling good.

Thursday already...

ugh, I tell you the week just gets away from me anymore. We have been having problems with our heater or thermostat today (not sure which one), but it's super cold and it's been a little stressfull here this afternoon. I finally got it to come back on and **knock on wood** so far so good. It's been snowing here all day, pretty hard. I even had to walk to get Bailey in it.

Nothing too interesting going on here lately! I didn't feel well yesterday and I think I have some kind of eye infection, but other than that...things are great!

Weigh-In Monday!

****Weight loss update****

This week I lost 1 pound. Not much but it's in the right direction and that's what counts right now! I didn't end up hitting my minutes exercised target, but I did do good in that department. My goal this week is higher and it may be a lofty goal, but I am going to try to get as close as I can. I pulled out my Biggest Loser exercise DVD and did a little sweating with Bob and let me tell you, that is some good motivation. He is just awesome and it's like he is right there in the room with you...or in the case of the calming stretch...out on a rock with you! That stretch was the best part. I am going to add this workout into my repertoire this week and see how I do. Here is my plan for this week.

Monday - ~~30 min Couch to 5K (W1D1), 5 min stretch, 20 min walk outside, 35 min TBL workout (high intensity)~~
Tuesday - 30 min Strength Training, 10 min stretch, 30 min treadmill, 40 min TBL workout (low intensity)
Wednesday - 30 min Couch to 5K (W1D1), 5 min stretch, 20 min walk outside, 35 min TBL workout (high intensity)
Thursday - 30 min Strength Training, 10 min stretch, 30 min treadmill, 40 min TBL workout (low intensity)
Friday - 30 min Couch to 5K (W1D1), 5 min stretch, 20 min walk outside, 35 min TBL workout (high intensity)
Saturday - rest
Sunday - rest (maybe a walk on the treadmill)

We'll see how it goes!

Food is going good. I am cutting out as much sugar this week as I can and replacing it with splenda. Really I only use sugar in my coffee and so far the Splenda has been just as satisfying. I need to work on getting lots of veggies and fruit and still more protein. I think it's time to pull out the ON powder and use that. I may have to give up my afternoon coffee for that to get the protein! Have to add this really quick...I think I found a way to get my protein...Chalene's Cottage Cheese Power Pancakes. How yummy do those look?!

Back on Track

I am getting there and it feels really good! I am going to work on a family schedule today. I am feeling the need for more structure around here and I am hoping that it will help the kids with some things too. Right now we have a lot of time spent fighting over who gets to play Star Wars Lego on PS2 and then when they do decide they fight about who isn't following who, etc.... I am tired of all the fighting!!

I am doing good. A "little" sore, but I am going to work through it today and see if I can get some of it worked out. Here is my schedule

****Entertainment****

I cheated last night and found the new Torchwood online!! It was really good, a great way to start the season. I am hoping to see more James Marsters this season too. I like watching them online because BBC doesn't censor them like they will for BBCAmerica, and there are no commercials. The only drawback was that it was on a Chinese site and it had Chinese subtitles on it, but it was in English so that's all that mattered to me!

I clicked on IMDB just after watching Torchwood and saw that Heath Ledger was found dead...so sad. I will admit that it freaked me out a little when I saw it. I don't know why, I guess because it was totally out of the blue. Now if I had seen that it was Britney Spears or Amy Winehouse....not so unexpected, but Heath, really sad. I really liked him.

I did 2 pages yesterday, but one was for the dare so I can't share that yet. This one was for the challenge this week on the TBL board.

Feeling Better

Finally, and it's about time too. Almost 2 weeks of being sick is NOT good. It feels good to be getting back into a routine that doesn't involve laying around most of the day! I have gotten a lot of TV and movies watched though. Here is a rundown of all the movies I have seen in the past few weeks

Bourne Identity
Bourne Supremacy
Bourne Ultimatum (in my opinion, the BEST of all 3 movies)
Stay Alive
Good Luck Chuck

Good Luck Chuck (yes, I did watch it 3 times!)

Now for the TV portion

caught up on all my shows including Prison Break
20 episodes of Season 2 of X-files

I am SO excited because the 2nd Series of Torchwood starts of BBCAmerica on Saturday. James Marsters is going to be on there and I am stoked for that! Kyle XY started again last week and it's been really good so far. Lost is coming back in 2 weeks too, I am not sure if I am excited for that or not, it's been so long since it's been on that it's hard to remember what happened last season toward the end. I am redy for Greek to start again, but that's not till March. We did watch AMC's new series Breaking Bad with Brian Cranston and it was OK, not sure if I will continue with that one or not. I do have all the Sarah Connor Chronicles on the DVR too, but haven't watched them yet. Actually, our DVR messed up last night's episode for some reason, so if I want to watch that one I will have to find it online somewhere.

****Weight Loss Update****

I am going to try to do these every week. Last week I ended up gaining 0.2, it was totally inevitable. I didn't exercise all week and my weekend eating wasn't the greatest. So this week I have a plan! My goal is to exercise for at least 350 minutes. Here is my schedule

I got Monday's done already. I think I will post this every day and update it as I get it done. I am also keeping a food log and making sure that I am getting at least 64 oz. water a day. I really need to work on my protein, I know that I am not getting enough. I have a big can of Optimum Nutrition Protein Powder, I need to start drinking one of those after I work out every day.

I don't have any scraps to show you, I haven't gotten a page done since I posted last, but I am going to be working on some today. I got my Seattle book ordered and I am hoping I get it in the mail today. I will post some pictures of it when I get it.

I just have to post this picture....I need a little Dane in this post...!

so far behind

i am so far behind! i am feeling a little better but still not 100%. i am getting there though, i have to get back into my routine this coming week. i spent so much of last week sleeping, i need to to be spending that time exercising this coming week. unless i have a huge surprise in the morning i am not going to lose weight this week, just too much laying around and not really making the best food choices over this weekend. i am just hoping that it's only a small gain, one that i can easily shed next week.

Still sick

I am still sick, but I have been keeping up with my pictures. Here is what I haven't posted.

I also finished my Seattle album and got it off to print at Shutterfly. I can't wait to get it back!

I am off to get kids to bed and hopefully I can just lay on the couch and rest tonight. I got Good Luck Chuck yesterday and watched it last night. I just LOVE Dane!!

i am sick. i though it was getting better but it's not, i feel awful. i am still taking my POTD, just haven't uploaded them. hopefully i will be feeling better tomorrow and can get them all loaded and do a decent update. I just don't feel like it today.
